A little run down, no elevators, but a good value and staff was friendly.

I was a little shocked when I pulled into the property and saw how run down this storage facility was. There are no elevators. They have ramps instead, but do offer the use of dollys. When you arrive at the building your storage unit is in, the hallways look like they are 100 years old, and have had no maintenance since it was built. The floors are wood, and the hallways are incredibly tight. Once in the unit, there is no drywall on the walls, nor a light. On the plus side, the individual who registered me was friendly, and quickly checked in. They have a lot of rules that need to be followed, and if you break any of them your charged a $50 fine, the value for price paid far out weights and of the negatives.

Online rental is not really clear about the door sizes when you rent , but the staff is very accommodating if you need to change the unit before moving in. If you have a chance take a look at your unit before, if the door size is a concern for you.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

As a return customer the way I have been treated by the facility managers at this location has been absolutely despicable. I rented here previously in 2022 and left after leaving the area for a couple months. No issues. I have no idea what happened to this staff but the people that work there now are passive aggressive, lazy, and downright disagreeable. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such contempt from any staff member at any Trojan storage location EVER. And my error? Apparently even though the storage supposedly has office hours until 6 pm a staff member called me and begged me not to come in after 5pm (when I get off) because “there wouldn’t be enough time to process the paperwork”. So I’m like okay I’ll come Saturday. And they say sorry, we only honor your reservation for four days. And I’m like really? Then as soon as my hold expires on Wednesday they raise the price by $200. So I try to make a new reservation for a smaller unit now that I’ve been priced out of the 10x15- and finally it’s Saturday. I go to the office and say hey, I made a new reservation. They’re like under who? I give my name and they snicker and reply “yeah we canceled that, we’re not going to rent you a unit” and laugh to each other. I’ve never seen such disgusting behavior by employees. The management here must be nonexistent. Sad. Because I really enjoyed my previous lease here. Management must be reduced to hiring bottom of the barrel.

Change Managment

After been here for over 2 years I am walking out I had such a bad experience with the new manager he just wanted to be right and not apologize for something he was wrong of doing when I ask why was he getting upset and listen to what the customer had to say he said I’m too busy,I was super shock he has a very short temper very disappointed. Worst customer service !!!!!

Staff is very rude

I would not recommend anyone to come here and should have just rented in West LA for a higher price but it is what it is. The person who assisted me was very rude, not just to me but to other customers waiting.

All of the 10 foot units are approximate and not 10 feet exactly.

Make sure to inspect your storage room carefully as we found dog poop and damage in our unit, after the fact.

Friendly’ish staff.

This might sound kind of weird, but sizes are not exactly what is posted on the site. I looked at a 5 x 10 which looks more like a 3 1/2 x 9. However, beggars can’t be choosers, I needed to place right away and the price was super cheap.
