Representative was AWESOME!

I called a number I found online to see if they could store our RV and the gentleman I spoke with was SO HELPFUL! He got my info, did a search to see the closest location to me and even looked for deals and promotions! It was by far the most pleasant experience I’ve had with representative over the phone! Super easy setup and we moved our camper in last night! 10 stars!!

Very helpful and prompt response

Unit was clean and ready to move in, nice to have security on site and all codes worked the first time.

Clean, convenient location

The office was sweltering hot. The touch screen on the automated reservation/ move-in computer system had a terrible lag and processing was slow. Due to the extreme heat in the office and the computer not working correctly I left & moved in from laptop @ home. The temperature in the climate controlled units is a constant 80 degrees. It seems to be a very clean and safe property.

Great facility

I needed a place to park a trailer for the weekend . A BIG trailer. 44' long.. Not only were they were able to accommodate me , but they did it at 11:30 at night with no problems, and saved me a ton of money not having to drive it further... I was able to make 1 call, and I got a really nice guy who was very helpful. He searched all the facility's in the area for me, and found the place w the best rate and accommodations that I was looking for.. I didnt get there until like 2am on a Sat night and had no problem getting the trailer dropped and on my way... the only issue i had, was the online form was lengthy and took way to long to do on a cell phone, and from what it seemed, the front gate never actually closed. But the facility had a lot of cameras and felt safe regardless. When I returned on Monday morning to get my trailer, nothing had been touched and all was well.. And 1 more good thing, was they prorated my move in, which was a huge help since I was only gonna be using the place for a few days! All in all, it was a great place and if im in that area again, I would be sure to call and use them again!

Continual Rate Increases not keeping up with the value and services provide

A new management company聽took over in 2020, and since that time, a new rate increase occurs every ~ six months- the average increase is ~20%, with a cumulative increase of 49% over a span of 16 months. The storage units rent has never been late, nor has there been any complaints from us, the customer. Neither facilities聽nor customer service has improved (in fact, customer service now has waiting times on hold), nor can management detail the reason for the increase; I can only assume that since they have customers hostage, during the profit handsomely. I would not recommend this facility nor any facility managed by 10 Federal Storage, LLC its partners and affiliates.聽

beware that making a payment to this facility will take you hours, days. 19th call in que is not uncommon with over 2 hour hold times. If you try to set up account to pay online you will encounter an error. customer service is non existent unless of course you need to reserve a unit than you can speak to someone right away however that person can not take your payment and can only give you a phone to call please think twice before booking

Took my money, then disposed of my car

I was paying 10federal to store my car beginning in May 2020 when they took over the Kingsport facility. In Oct 2021, a towing company removed my car; the towing company claims they received an order to do so via a text from a 10federal manager. I wrote this manager directly and she replied with a copy pasted PR template. Bills at the time were properly paid, withdrawn automatically from my bank. I receive numerous emails from 10federal; my address and phone is written on every bill; I have given them my license plate over the phone. They have adequate access to my information, yet unfortunately I did not receive any warnings beforehand about a problem with my car that would have warranted disposing of it. Most likely, 10federal was automatically withdrawing money from my account each month for over a year, but not keeping track of what car I was paying to have stored, despite me giving my vehicle information to their call service. In comparison, the towing company is run by competent people who figured out who the car belonged to and sent me a registered letter immediately. If 10federal were as diligent in keeping track of customers' property and looking up the license plate information that I had provided over the phone, they would have known that the car belonged to a paying customer, and saved me a $650 impound bill.

Good but was surprised that there isn’t anyone there

Everything looks good, but I wasn’t told that I had to move in online and no one would be there so it was a hassle to get in. Also the unit had some trash in it, not much but it could have atleast been swept before you let a new tenant move in.

Clean but difficult

The units were clean but hard to get into for the first time. Building C is not labeled and it's looks as if it's part of building B.

Affordable but Issue Entering

My movers tried to get in on the day of our move but could not because the key pad was broken. Maintenance arrived but was told it would take a while to fix. The movers got held up there and had to make another trip back the next morning to unload the truck. Probably cost me at least 2 additional hours with the moving company which is $135.00 per hour.
