Other then the wrong info provided concerning payment process and access everyone was pleasant.

Reservation

The attendee was very nice and helpful but the customer service from the 1-800 # provided wrong info . The customer service advised us there would be someone there at the building to process paperwork but we had to call another number.

Very convenient

I wish I would have found this storage facility last year. I love the fact that you can drive inside the facility and load and unload!!! Very clean and safe as well.

The price is UNBELIEVABLE! The process of obtaining the inside unit was quick and easy. Nice, clean, and cool. Highly recommend.

Incorrect information given through 800

I needed a 24 hour access facility immediately and the best option that was available was this one open to 11. Not what i wanted but had to take it. was told the size was not available so had to get the larger size for a much higher amount. Arrived at facility at 930 to pay by kiosk. It said no need to write your number it will be printed for you. The paperwork did not come. called the 800 number and was on hold for over 20 minutes. The person on the phone was helpful. There was a speak to an agent on the kiosk that never connected. She said oh i will report that kiosk as not printing. found out the next day that the hours changed and it closed at 10 not 11 as i was told . The kiosk hasnt printed for 2 years. Next evening a homeless man was set up inside the door asking for rides and I think waiting for us to key in. Not the safest atmosphere and the emergency number on the door does not get answered.

I like storage of America it stores all of my stuff and I can pull inside the air conditioned facility with my vehicle and stay as long as I need to store my stuff

Ok needs an Exterminator

Please use an exterminator because I saw all kinds of dead bugs throughout the hallway

My things were not safe

This review is for Storage of America in Trotwood, OH on Shiloh Springs. I have stored my things with storage of America for over a year. I also paid for the tenant protection plan. I have discovered several items were missing from my storage unit (TVs, boots, a kitchen aid mixer, a blue tooth speaker.) There was no signs of a break in. My lock was in tact. I have given no one access to my storage unit. I made a police report. I asked the man that works at the front desk for an insurance claim. I've messaged SOA on their website and have called several times. I never received a call back or an email. When I went to the storage place I was told I need to talk to the manager, who is conveniently never there. I was also told they could not give me a number to call the manager. There is a paper with info about the Tenant Protection Plan and the cost, but no contact information is on it at all. I am highly upset and feel like they could care less about my claim or items that are missing and I think the Tenant Protection plan they offer but claim is through another company is bogus. I'm also convinced that an employee is responsible for the theft of my items. especially since there was no signs of the lock being broken in. The tops of the unit are only covered by netting. I'm not sure how someone got onto my unit, but they did.

The one 800 number had incorrect information

When I called storage of America, the lady on the phone was very helpful, however her information was incorrect. She had told me that the sizes I needed were not available, and incorrect hours. When I went into the office and spoke to Curt, the manager, the size I wanted was available, and at a better price. My experience so far has been very good, I really love the facility, Curt was very helpful and kind and funny,(And pretty doggone cute!) However, I think it’s important to note that the number that you call should have correct information. Had I not needed storage immediately, I would have gone to another facility when I was told the incorrect information that the size I wanted was not available. I’m glad I spoke to Curt.

Great Facility

Great Storage facility!...friendly staff!...only thing I recommend is better lighting outside the building at night! Im a single mother and moving at night you want to see your surroundings clearly!

Awesome customer service with Kyle Short

I found the place on line and made an appointment to come see a unit. The place was super clean and when I walked in Kyle was on the phone with another tenant but immediately acknowledged I was there and said hello I’ll be right with me. He asked what I was looking for and I told him I’m better at visually seeing the units and he took me around and showed me some different sizes of units. I picked the size I needed and went back to the office and was in and out. I have to say this is the best experience I’ve had dealing with storage facilities. And Kyle definitely made it easy. And without all the bullshit that comes with all the other places! My only problem is that my unit is all the way in the far corner,lol! But I’m glad I found this facility. I’d definitely refer friends here

Things went just ’ok’

I did not enjoy the check in process. The location was closed and I had to use the self service kiosk. My information could not be located after several attempts so I had to utilize the help and line operator feature. I'm glad it was available, but I lost time trying to find my reservation.
