Frustrating trying to get in and out of the facility

It was great being able to unload inside but the exit doors should have a sensor to open. I was worried if I went outside to re-enter the code, I would get locked out.

Manger Kevin was very helpful!!!

On very short notice the site manager, Kevin, was able to find me a 10'x20'!, a 10'x25'!! and an outside space !!! And he was able to help make unloading a 53'semi-trailer truck easy !!!!

Excellent comprehensive service.

We looked at several storage facilities the Twin Cities and sent inquiries. Within moments of sending an inquiry to this facility, Kevin called. We chatted for a few minutes. He was friendly, and asked all the right questions. We went to the facility the next day and he rented us the space we were interested in. He was friendly, and efficient, professional. We enjoyed meeting him and felt great leaving our automobile at this facility! This was not what we have experienced from other storage places in the Twin Cities. Relieved!!!

Move in went pretty smooth

I moved from another storage facility to this one. so far everything is much better. I really only have one issue. I wish the access hours to my bin were just a little longer. I think hours like 8 or 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. would give us better hours for accessing our stored property. But other than that I think everything so far is great.

Great self storage!

Manager Michael was very helpful and nice. The unit itself is great - perfect for storing my things over the summer along with one of my college classmates. The whole space is very clean and secure-feeling. The only thing I would change is the hours - the times it's open is fairly limiting, and it's impossible to get in after the office closes. However, I do understand how this is important in order to keep the unit secure... Overall, I would definitely recommend Public Storage!

Dirty, Poorly maintained, Generally Sub-Par

My items are stored, and I feel they are reasonably secure. Other than that, however, I my experience at this Pubic Storage location has been sub-par. Earlier this month, the main exit door was broken for over a week (hopefully it has been fixed by now?). This was very inconvenient, and created uncomfortable traffic jams inside the facility. Carts are too few and hard to find. Ceiling is leaking. Facility is also quite dirty. When we moved in (in January) there was a small pile of litter by the side door. The front desk agent said she "hadn't gotten to it", as though maybe she would clean it up the next day. Shockingly, over a month later, what appears to be the SAME trash is still by the door!! I can only say that, because the trash includes what looks like a clump of human hair or perhaps part of a wig. Gross. However, my basic needs are met, and that's ok for now. I would not recommend this facility to others.

The staff was super friendly

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They didn't have the size of unit I reserved available so they bumped me up a couple of sizes for the price of the smaller unit. The place is clean and secured. I like it.

2 issues i had with public storage..

Only complaint i have is that I ended up having no use for the storage unit not even a full 48 hours & apparently was not an option to get any sort of refund. I even probed a bit to see if i could be met in the middle & negotiate or compromise some sort if pro rated regund if entire refund wad out of the question and the only response I got was, ' ma'm if you come clean out storage and i cancel out your unit its basically up to the system if a refund of any type was available, and chances of that happening is slim to none." So it was basically up to me to take the gamble, but now why would i do that if i get no money back? Id at least like to get my moneys worth if its paid for a month. Decided wasnt worth the gamble & waiting the month out to collect my belongings. Lastly, the customer service reps who take the customers/potential customers call seem to have a complete lack of knowledge when it comes to finding open storages in or near the area your looking to store. Considering im currently without a vehicle transportation is hard enough as it is, but to make the situation worse the representative advised my reserved open storage unit was a short distance from me, ended up being close to 25 minute drive & is completely out of the way & very inconvenient, however the situation i was having was crucial that i got this storage asap & needless to say it was a holiday & NOTHING was open..i had no other options. So besides those issues i was adequately satisfied with everything else.

Customer Service is excellent and storage units are in great shape. Would love to see Public Storage amend policy to allow for 24/7 entry.
