Everyone was very helpful and friendly, from the people I spoke to on the phone, to the gentleman working at my nearest public storage. The facility is kept so clean and is very secure. They definitely want to make sure that my needs are met!

Good experience

Easy check in and payment set up. Even though my size unit that I had originally reserved was not available, the size upgrade was free. Building seems secure enough. Only one person working so if you have to borrow a cart (leave ID at counter) you have to wait for them to return to get your ID back. Overall good experience.

The employee was helpful & knowledgeable. My only complaint is there was only the one employee on the premises so everyone had to wait. But the facility is clean & appears to be secure.

It is a pleasure to do business with your desk representative, Tanesha, but the facility is no longer clean. it is too much for one person to do both jobs.There is dust and dirt on the sliding doors to each location and dirt seems to be seeping into the units. There is trash on the floors, in the elevators and outside the main sliding doors. We appreciate the friendly, professional service when we go in to pay our bills, but the cleanliness we saw in the past is not what it once was.

The facility manager Juan was extremely helpful. He went over every detail of renting a unit and how to use it. I find every time I see Juan his smile brightens my day. He makes you feel welcome as a new comer to the city. The facility was very clean and even going there at 9pm I felt safe. I would recommend this Public Storage facility to everyone.

Out of all your public storages this one to me is number #1 because all the other they such this place I will tell my friends about this one

Why did I wait so long? Love it!

Finally took the jump and rented a medium storage space. The sign up was super easy and the facility is clean and we feel safe. Fortunately they are within 1.5 miles from our house so if we need to retrieve something in storage, it isn't a hassle. I'm sure you could probably find cheaper storage, but i think the value of convenience and safety is worth paying a little more. And I can once again see the back of my closet!!!

Facilities are fine, but inconsiderate business practices with cancellation won't have me coming back any time soon.

There are many built-in costs that make this storage company completely cost-ineffective. They charge the ridiculous amount of $17 for their very specific lock for the units; this fee is non-refundable, and the lock is completely useless outside of the facilities. Almost $20 thrown away there. Add in the insurance, the start-up fees, etcetera, this is a poor value. Their pro-rating system is horrendous, only offering pro-rating for the first 10 days of the month, and charging the full month for anything past those first 10 days. Regardless of when in the month you start your rental, you will be charged for the WHOLE month, and then the "next month" will apparently be pro-rated. This is backwards logic, and for people looking for very short-term rentals, will cost you up to 400% more than the rental time you are actually looking to use. I only needed a week's worth of storage, and was forced to pay for the whole month. I am unhappy, feel ripped off, and will not be using Public Storage facilities again, at least not this location, although I believe the business practices are similar for all locations. Mediocre customer service and impotent employees who said they had no power to help also helped create this opinion.

Exactly what we hoped for

We used the Outer Circle, Long Beach location to store furniture as we were moving our daughter into her apartment for college. Even though we were short-term customers the staff treated us really well: great service, friendly, and helpful. They were a delight and expert service-providers. The location was clean and well-kept. Couldn't have asked for more!

The girls in the office make getting Public Storage very easy

The staff here is fabulous and helpful. The storage place itself is really nice. I was a little worried having a unit on the 2nd floor ...but moving in was a breeze with all the dollies they provide and the large elevators. It seems very safe and secure to me with cameras too.
